Join us for DNA Discovery by Science Connections. Space is limited, registration required. Ages 6-10.

DNA is the molecule in your body that makes you who you are!  It is found in all your cells and provides the blueprint for making you.  Learn what DNA looks like, how your DNA is unique, and extract DNA from strawberries!  Registration required.  Register online or call 240-773-9550 beginning 3 weeks before the event.  For children ages 6 - 10.  Generously sponsored by the Friends of the Library, Montgomery County.

Library Program Attendance (both virtual and in the branch) is limited to participants within the suggested age range of the program. Children attending an MCPL program under the age of 8 must be accompanied by an adult. Adults attending a program intended for children must have an accompanying child.

People who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing should request English-language captioning or sign-language interpretation at least five days before the library-sponsored program they plan to attend.
