Enjoy your day off school with this hands on fun activity! For ages 8 & up.
Looking for a fun activity for an afternoon off from school? Learn about Leonardo da Vinci, build a self-sustaining bridge. Known primarily as an artist, Leonardo da Vinci was also a scientist and engineer who inventions were way ahead of his time.
Leonardo da Vinci's self-supporting bridge was a remarkable feat of engineering. It required no nails or ropes to hold it together and could be carried into any battlefield and assembled by just a handful of men.
In this fun and challenging STEM program, you will attempt to build your own da Vinci Bridge using craft sticks as a substitute for interlocking wooden planks.
Space and supplies are limited so registration is required for this program. This program is best suited to ages 8 and up.
