DCVLP (DC Volunteer Lawyers Project- Montgomery County branch) attorneys assist low-income survivors of domestic violence who are residents of Montgomery County in attaining protection orders, divorce, custody, and child support. The attorneys offer brief advice consults, as well as take on some cases for full or limited representation, depending on their capacity. We have telephonic interpreters available. We operate out of the first-floor large meeting room across from the bathrooms on Wednesdays weekly from 12-4pm (last walk-in at 3:30).
Los abogados de DCVLP (Proyecto de Abogados Voluntarios de DC - sucursal del condado de Montgomery) ayudan a sobrevivientes de bajos ingresos de violencia doméstica que residen en el condado de Montgomery a obtener órdenes de protección, divorcio, custodia y manutención infantil. Los abogados ofrecen consultas breves de asesoramiento, así como aceptan algunos casos para representación total o limitada, dependiendo de su capacidad. Contamos con intérpretes telefónicos disponibles. Operamos en la sala de reuniones del primer piso frente a los baños los miércoles semanalmente de 12 a 4 pm (última entrada sin cita a las 3:30 pm).

Accommodation Requests
People who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing should request English-language captioning or sign-language interpretation at least five days before the library-sponsored program they plan to attend. Contact the Assistant Facilities and Accessibility Program Manager at 240-777-0002 with all other accommodation requests.
