Art at the Library: Frida Kahlo

Come learn about artist Frida Kahlo and paint a self portrait.

Join us for an afternoon of art! Learn about artist Frida Kahlo, an artist famous for her self portraits, and then paint your own self portrait! This hands-on activity will stimulate your child's creativity and imagination, while helping them develop critical fine motor skills.

Please bring a picture of yourself or a mirror for this program.

Registration is required for this program.

This program is designed for children 6 years old and above. Children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult.

All materials provided.

Library Program Attendance (both virtual and in the branch) is limited to participants within the suggested age range of the program. Children attending an MCPL program under the age of 8 must be accompanied by an adult. Adults attending a program intended for children must have an accompanying child.
