Join us for a fun opportunity to learn about Oceanic art and create an artwork inspired by Oceanic bark painting, as we celebrate Asian American and Pacific Islander Month this May.
Art professor Michael Hilliard will bring Oceanic art to life after which participants will create their own works of art in the style of Oceanic artists. REGISTRATION opens 4/27/2024. This program is limited to elementary age children; Kindergarten - 6th grade.
This program is by registration only and is geared to children in Kindergarten—6th Grade. Registration opens on April 27.
Please wear clothes that can get messy; the art project involves paint.
We will provide all the materials for this program.

Library Program Attendance (both virtual and in the branch) is limited to participants within the suggested age range of the program. Children attending an MCPL program under the age of 8 must be accompanied by an adult. Adults attending a program intended for children must have an accompanying child.
