Read Across Generations
at Rockville Memorial Library
Children can practice their reading skills during this summer.
Children going into kindergarten through third grade can practice their reading skills during this summer while reading one-on-one with previously selected and trained volunteers (50+) from the Jewish Council for the Aging Heyman Interages Center.
Students can bring their own book or select one from the library.
The program runs for 5 weeks, from July 8 to August 10, 2024.
No pre-registration required.
In collaboration with the Jewish Council for the Aging (JCA) Heyman Interages Center.

Library Program Attendance (both virtual and in the branch) is limited to participants within the suggested age range of the program. Children attending a MCPL program under the age of 8 must be accompanied by an adult. Adults attending a program intended for children must have an accompanying child.

Accommodation Requests
People who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing should request English-language captioning or sign-language interpretation at least five days before the library-sponsored program they plan to attend.
