How to Avoid Financial Scams and Fraud- In-person

April is Financial Capability Month!

Each year millions of Americans fall victim to financial scams and fraud. Learn how to avoid the most common ones and how to spot a scam. The program will take place in the Multi-Purpose Room.

Aziz Hurtado Olson from Marylanders Online will share examples, discuss typical scams, and provide resources if you or a family member believes you were scammed. The presenter is bilingual in English and Spanish. More info:https://marylandersonline.umd.edu/
