Demonstrations of classical Kathak and Bollywood dance routines performed by students of the India School in Bethesda in celebration of Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month.
May is Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month! Experience the speed, spins, and complex rhythms of Kathak, a classical dance form from northern India, as well as the colorful dynamic routines of Bollywood dance performed by students of the India School in Bethesda. Space is limited: tickets will be distributed beginning at 1:00 pm. This family program is suitable for ages 4 and up and is generously funded by the Friends of the Library, Montgomery County, Inc. Little Falls Fund.

Library Program Attendance (both virtual and in the branch) is limited to participants within the suggested age range of the program. Children attending an MCPL program under the age of 8 must be accompanied by an adult. Adults attending a program intended for children must have an accompanying child.
