Music from a wide range of Asian countries, such as China, Japan, the Philippines, etc. Folk tales & dances, songs & poetry will depict the social life & customs of many different countries.
Li-Ly Chang is a pianist, composer, chamber musician, teacher, and recipient of many grants and awards. She has performed in Asia, Europe, and the US. Recently, she was featured at a webinar “Meet the composer: Piano music by composers of Asian Heritage” sponsored by the Frances Clark Center. She holds professional certification (NCTM) from the Music Teachers’ National Association. She was a music panelist for the Maryland State Arts Council and is the Director of the International Young Artist Piano Competition (IYAPC).
