Let's take an adventure through time and across the world to India through music and movement! We'll journey of India through a lecture and demonstration short session. Learn about classical, folk and modern dances from all over India and the areas around. From the ancient Hindu form to the Mughal invasion and on to the British rule and finally the emersion of Bollywood and even fusion danfe forms with Western dance forms. We will see how dance forms changed throughout India over the 3,000 years! Part of our celebration of Asian/Pacific American Heritage Month. Sponsored by Friends of the Library, Montgomery County. Good for ages 3-12.

Library Program Attendance (both virtual and in the branch) is limited to participants within the suggested age range of the program. Children attending an MCPL program under the age of 8 must be accompanied by an adult. Adults attending a program intended for children must have an accompanying child.
