Join us to hear the music of the NIH Chamber Singers! All are welcome.
The NIH Chamber Singers, a group of 16 singers under the direction of Dwight Brock, will present a Spring concert of choral music for singers and listeners alike. The selections will include Early Music showing the development of choral singing, Songs of the People featuring folk songs, spirituals and gospel styles, and a varied set of music by KC Honorees, recognizing several recent and past musicians honored by the Kennedy Center.
Composers from Morley to McCartney, Bartok to Bernstein, and U2 to Queen, and others will be featured, as singers and audience alike can enjoy the Common Ground we find in the unity music brings. Continuing our custom, the Singers will also present some special arrangements, including unusual instrumentation, worthy to be Encores in any concert.
Join us for an afternoon of escape and relaxation.
