You will learn how to get started with your family research, where to access free research tools and how to organize your research findings.
Chiquita Clark Sorrels is the Church Historian for Jerusalem-Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church and is President of the Montgomery County, MD, Chapter of the Afro-American Historical and Genealogical Society. She has been a volunteer at Peerless Rockville and helped do research for the current exhibit: “Forging Freedom: Endurance and Escape on Rockville’s Underground Railroad.”
This program will take place in the second floor large meeting room.
