Calling All Readers in Grades 4-6: Come join a Book Club just for you! For tonight's discussion and activities, pick up "How to Win a Slime War" ahead of time at the Connie Morella Library.
No Shelf Control is a brand-new book club for students in Grades 4-6 who love to read and have fun talking about books and characters! Tonight we'll be discussing Mae Respicio's "How to Win a Slime War." You can borrow a copy (with a specially prepared reading guide just for our group) from the Connie Morella Library; just ask at the Check Out or Information Desks for the December book for No Shelf Control. You can also access the book as an audiobook on Hoopla or as an e-book or audiobook on Libby/Overdrive! If you get an e-version, please contact me for the reading guide (jeffrey.coster@montgomerycountymd.gov). Even if you are not able to finish the reading, please come anyway and see if No Shelf Control might just be the place for you! The book for the January 10 meeting will be handed out tonight, and then available to pick up from the Connie Morella Library by anyone who missed it. Contact Mr. Jeff at the email address above for additional information.
Library Program Attendance (both virtual and in the branch) is limited to participants within the suggested age range of the program. Children attending an MCPL program under the age of 8 must be accompanied by an adult. Adults attending a program intended for children must have an accompanying child.
