Short films honoring the Navajo Code Talkers of World War II
FILM SHOWING:
Navajo Code Talkers were heroes during World War II. Navajo, a spoken not written language, was used by specially recruited Native American men to develop a secret code to communicate with fellow soldiers in the Pacific battlefield. This code was extremely hard for enemy interceptors to break, helping turn the tide for the Allies in the War. We will be viewing two short films.
