Interested in earning SSL hours and helping to plan teen programming at Potomac Library? Join us for the Teen Advisory Board meeting!
What is a Teen Advisory Board?
TAB is a group of library teen volunteers that helps the library and the community by implementing, promoting, and advocating for youth services in Montgomery County.
The Teen Advisory Board provides feedback on programs, assist librarians with planning and running events, and serve as library advocates.
You earn Student Service Learning (SSL) hours for attending TAB meetings as a registered volunteer PTAB member, and there will be more opportunities to volunteer in person in the coming year. Contact Mike Joseph, the Teen Librarian, at 240-773-0697 for more information.
Take a look at these Resources for Teens. Don't have a card right now? No worries! Find out how to Get a Library Card.
