Celebrate MCPL's Random Acts of Kindness Week by painting rocks with a positive message or design. Place one of your painted rocks around the library garden to spread kindness, friendship, and unity.
MCPL will be celebrating our very own Random Acts of Kindness Week from July 30, 2023 - August 5, 2023. Random Acts of Kindness week complements this year's Summer Reading theme, “All Together Now” and “Kindness, Friendship, and Unity” as well as the County organizations we are partnering with this year. We hope this will be a fun celebration for all!
Each participant will have the opportunity to paint two rocks with positive messages and/designs using paint markers. The rocks will be sealed to protect them, and then they can be placed in a garden or around the community for others to see and enjoy. If they choose, participants will have the opportunity to place one of their rocks in the library's garden.
This program is open to teens and tweens age 11-17, rising 5th -12 graders. Registration is required.
