Database Discovery: Music and Arts - In-person

Learn about Hoopla, Creative Bug, Kanopy, Music Online, Smithsonian Global Sound, and Theater in Video. All these databases and services are free with your library card!

In this session, you will learn everything and more about Hoopla, Creative Bug, Kanopy, Music Online, Smithsonian Global Sound, and Theater in Video. Some laptops will be available for use during the presentation, and you are welcome to bring your own.

Registration recommended, but not required.

Hoopla offers eBooks, movies, TV and Music. Use Creative Bug to learn a new craft or Hobby.  Kanopy has many independent films, and documentaries.  Music Online features classical music, jazz, and American music collections. Smithsonian Global Sound showcases music from around the world. Theater in Video lets you access stage performances of over 250 plays.

Accommodation Requests

People who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing should request English-language captioning or sign-language interpretation at least five days before the library-sponsored program they plan to attend.
