Christy Bowe, one of the few women still photographers who has covered five consecutive White House administrations and is a member of the White House Press Corps.
She will discuss her book EYES THAT SPEAK: One Woman News Photographer's Journeys with History Makers. This riveting lecture showcases some of Christy's awards winning pictures set to music along with behind the scenes stories which took place while on her assignments. During this interactive lecture, Christy will detail capturing some of the world's most recognizable people and historical events, pivotal moments and celebratory occasions including: 8 US Presidential Inaugurations, Covering 5 US presidents, Royalty such Queen Elizabeth, King Charles and Princess Diana, Nelson Mandela of South Africa, Vikto Yushchenko of Ukraine, His Holiness, The Dalai Lama, The January 6 Insurrection and Hearings, Two U.S. Presidential Impeachments adding additional images to each lecture from current news coverage.
