Ready to Hatch is an interactive early literacy program for expectant parents, sponsored by the Maryland State Library.

FUN FACTS: Reading and singing help your baby's brain and language development. Reciting nursery rhymes and singing songs help your baby get ready to read. Babies who have been exposed to books and reading grow up to become children who perform better in school. 

Dato interesante: Leer y cantar ayudan al desarrollo del cerebro y del lenguaje de su bebé. Recitar rimas infantiles y cantar canciones ayudan a su bebé a prepararse para leer. Los bebés que están expuestos a libros y a la lectura se convierten en niños que rinden mejor en la escuela.

Presented in Spanish and English. Registration is required, and space is limited to expectant parents: only one registration per family is necessary to reserve your spot. 

El programa está presentado en inglés y español. Se requiere registrarse. El espacio está limitado para padres que están esperando un bebé: Solo una registración por familia es necesaria para reservar un cupo.
