Join us for a glamorous morning of songs and stories, sponsored by the Olney Theatre!
Story hour just got a lot more glamorous! To celebrate the opening of Kinky Boots at the Olney Theatre, they are generously sponsoring a morning of songs and stories at the Olney Library, hosted by the incomparable drag queen D’Manda Martini. Drag Story Hour captures the imagination and play of the gender fluidity of childhood and gives kids glamorous, positive, and unabashedly queer role models.
In spaces like this, kids are able to see people who defy rigid gender restrictions and imagine a world where people can present as they wish and where dress-up is real.
This is a free family event, appropriate for all ages, especially toddlers, preschoolers, and young children. Drag Story Hour is presented in partnership with the Olney Theatre.
