Join us for a colorful crafting session!

We will be creating mosaic artwork in the style of artist Alma Thomas, the first Black woman to have a solo exhibit at the Whitney Museum in New York City.  Learn her story as you create your own masterpiece.

For children 3 years old and up. Parents/caregivers must accompany children under the age of 8.

Accommodation Requests

People who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing should request English-language captioning or sign-language interpretation at least five days before the library-sponsored program they plan to attend. Contact the Assistant Facilities and Accessibility Program Manager at 240-777-0002 with all other accommodation requests.
