Alma's Circles: Black History Month Discovery Station

Drop in between 4:00pm to 6:00pm to make circle collage art to celebrate Alma Thomas, first African American woman to have a solo exhibition at New York’s Whitney Museum of American Art.

This self guided discovery station and activity are great for kids of any age who want to learn about the accomplishments of so many African-Americans.

Allow 15 minutes. Recommended age: 3 to 12. Parents/caregivers must accompany children under the age of 12.
