The Olney Writer's Group provides a regular forum for the presentation, review, and critique of works in progress. All styles of writing are welcome. College-aged and older.
This friendly group consists of writers who are in various stages of their projects (representing different genres). They meet twice/month, usually the 2nd & 4th Thursdays.
At each session, members offer praise and constructive critique. In the two weeks prior to each meeting, they review two authors' work, up to 10-12 pages double-spaced, then discuss them at the next session. The group also shares resources, exchanges ideas, and has held literary events to read their work publicly.
Registration is required. Registrants will be emailed a link to access the meeting before the event.
Please feel free to join the meeting ~10 minutes early to check your connection, settings, etc.
