Reading Buddies

at Gaithersburg Library

Encourage your child's love of books and reading development by pairing them with a teen reading buddy for one-on-one reading time.

No Registration Required. For Preschool to 5th Grade. 

Please note that there is no Reading Buddies when MCPS schools are closed.

This program is in partnership with the City of Gaithersburg Department of Parks, Recreation & Culture.

Accommodation Requests

People who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing should request English-language captioning or sign-language interpretation at least five days before the library-sponsored program they plan to attend. Contact the Assistant Facilities and Accessibility Program Manager at 240-777-0002 with all other accommodation requests.
