This program will introduce you to using Python as a programming language.
This program will introduce you to the foundational skills necessary to write computer programs. Whether you are interested in publishing a website, automating mundane, repetitive tasks, creating a dynamic web application that solves a specific problem, or just learning a new skill, this class is for you. Computers are everywhere these days, and you will learn new skills to write programs with Python. Python is a computer programming language often used to build websites and software, automate tasks, and conduct data analysis. This program requires a basic understanding of computers, a familiarity with the Internet, using software, and a desire to learn.
This program will be held in the Public Computer Lab. You can bring your own laptop to the program, however public PCs are available.
Registration is encouraged for the 8 week duration, but drop-ins are welcome.
