In partnership with Montgomery County Department of Environmental Protection
“Plastics Recycling 101 in Montgomery County” is a summer event and opportunity for kids to learn about the role that plastic pollution plays in our environment and how we can work together to reduce, reuse, and recycle plastic items we see every day at home to keep Montgomery County’s land, air and water clean. Come participate in this VIRTUAL event as staff and kids embark on a journey to examine the dos and don’ts of plastics recycling in the County, what happens once plastics get recycled, and how to reduce, reuse and recycle even more. Join us as part of this year’s summer reading theme, “Oceans of Possibilities”, as we discuss ways to give new life to the materials and resources, we use every day.
