Join the SAPPlings (Student Advocates Protecting the Planet) to decorate reusable water bottles to be donated to New Hampshire Estates Elementary School -- and earn SSL hours!
Come join the SAPPlings (Student Advocates Protecting the Planet) for a program on the impact of plastics waste in our streams and what we can do in our daily lives to prevent plastics pollution. Participants will be decorating reusable water bottles to be donated to New Hampshire Estates Elementary School, and will have the opportunity to earn SSL hours as well as to complete a Summer Reading Challenge mission and earn two e-raffle tickets.
This program is for those entering grades 7-12. When you enter the library please head upstairs to the meeting room. You do not need to be a member of SAPPlings or to attend Montgomery County Public Schools to participate.
SAPPlings is a project of One Montgomery Green and is open to all high school students in Montgomery County who are interested in environmental issues and sustainability. To learn more: http://onemontgomerygreen.org.
