Sharks are amazing creatures!
Come learn about sharks large and small, from giant, filter feeding whale sharks to tiny, predatory cookie cutter sharks. During this educational and entertaining program, a marine scientist will teach children about traits sharks have in common, where they live, and even what they eat. Children will also view a live shark and real artifacts.
This program is generously sponsored by the Friends of the Library, Montgomery County, Inc. This is a summertime program for children ages 3 and up and their families.
Attendance will be limited. Free tickets will be distributed 30 minutes before the program at the Information Desk, on a first-come-first-served basis. Due to the nature of this program, masks are required for participants ages 5 and up.
Location: Chevy Chase Library, Meeting Room (lower level).
