The Connie Morella Library Advisory Committee (LAC) meets to hear updates from the Montgomery County Library Board and to discuss library programs and services of interest to the Gaithersburg community. The LAC strives to reflect the diversity of the Bethesda community and broadly represent a cross-section of the community it serves. LAC members serve up to two 3-year terms, and membership must be approved by the Library Board. Board members serve as liaisons to branch LACs, attending meetings and reporting the concerns of the LACs to the Library Board, and providing the Gaithersburg Library Manager with input on behalf of the Library Board.
