Hear about the challenges and vulnerabilities for persons who are street homeless and what it takes to provide solutions to the most difficult cases.

In 2020, Bethesda Cares set a new county record for achieving street-to-home housing placement on behalf of individuals experiencing chronic street homelessness. Hear about the challenges and vulnerabilities for persons who are street homeless and what it takes to provide solutions to the most difficult cases.

Founded in 1988, Bethesda Cares is a community outreach program for people living unsheltered, and for people in homes who are at severe risk of losing them. Regardless of whether their homelessness is temporary or chronic, Bethesda Cares provides all clients a haven where they know they won't be told to move along.

Co-hosted with Bethesda Metro Area Village. BMAV is a volunteer organization providing services and community support to allow people to remain in their homes as they age.

For security reasons, this program session will be locked 10 minutes after it begins. Please log in promptly.
