Discover with Bri: Let's Talk Lepidoptera (week 2) - Virtual

In this weekly program, we will discover something exciting from nature together.

In this weekly program, we will discover something exciting from nature together. We’ll read books, learn fun facts, and then do hands-on nature activities. Please feel free to join us even if you missed “lepidoptera week 1.” 

This week we’ll be discovering butterflies and moths and then making a butterfly or a moth!

Please bring the following supplies:

• Toilet paper or paper towel rolls (if your roll is thick and hard to cut, please ask a grown-up to cut it into 1” wide rings)
• Scissors 
• Tape or glue
• Paint
• 2 small sticks or pipe cleaners (or something else for antennae--could be paper)
• Anything else fun you want to use to make legs, a face, decorate the body, etc.

If you aren’t able to gather the supplies, please feel free to join us anyway. The hands-on activity can be completed later.

Registered participants will receive the Zoom link the day before the program.

Perfect for 1st-3rd grade, or preschool-kindergarten with an adult present to help.
