Northstar - Proctored Assessment Test – Virtual

Take a proctored Northstar assessment test to demonstrate your mastery of computer & software skills.

Demonstrate your digital literacy skills by taking a proctored Northstar Assessment test during a scheduled test session.  If you score 85% or higher, you'll earn a Northstar Digital Literacy Certificate to share with your employers. Tests will be administered and monitored remotely – allowing you to take the test from the convenience of your home.  Registration is required. We recommend that test-takers set up their Northstar Learner Accounts prior to the test date.   Request one now at:  https://mcpl.link/northstar-signup

For your test, you will need:

• A computer (tablets and smartphones will NOT work)
• Internet access
• A webcam (video camera) on your computer
• A quiet space
• A phone to contact the proctor if you have technical problems
• A picture ID - *the proctor will need to see your picture and full name. Acceptable forms of ID include passports, foreign and domestic state-issued ID cards, school ID cards, human services cards, military ID cards and similar identification.

The Zoom link will be shared with test-takers 2-24 hours prior to the scheduled time of the test.

Accommodation Requests

Captioning and interpreting services can be requested by completing the request form.
