A fun and adventurous program that shows through the universe of stories how people and animals can come in many sizes, shapes, colors and languages.
On the surface, people and animals may look different, but at heart they can be our heroes and heroines. They can be compassionate, thoughtful and helpful. They can be intelligent, creative and problem solvers. This program highlights classic folk tales like Thumbelina told from the perspective of another culture, woven throughout with traditional music and instruments. A fun and adventurous program that shows through the universe of stories how a person and animal can come in many sizes, shapes, colors and languages. Made possible by Story Tapestries and a grant from the Nora Roberts Foundation, the Children's Opportunity Fund, and Fitzgerald Auto's Toyota Fund.
