In this 5-week virtual class, you will write and illustrate your own graphic novel page.
Using all the conventions of graphic novel storytelling: narration, dialogue, character design, dynamic page layouts and cinematic techniques, participants will create their own graphic novel page. Refine rough pencil drawings into finished art with pen and ink and watercolor pencils.
Registration and attendance to all 5 sessions is required (April 22, 29, May 6, 13 & 20, 2021). Space is limited to 20 participants ages 10-15. Supply kits will be provided. If any participant is registered and cannot attend, please contact Kensington Park Library to cancel the registration so that other individuals on the waiting list can participate.
