Suzanne McGovern of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission’s Office of Investor Education and Advocacy will discuss how women can level the playing field through saving and investing.
Women have unique financial considerations. There are certain realities women must deal with–women are paid less than men, spend less time in the workforce, spend more time in retirement because we live longer and our financial plans can be derailed by big life changes. Suzanne McGovern of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission’s Office of Investor Education and Advocacy will discuss the important elements of saving and investing, and the ways women can level the playing field. Topics will include investment products, risk tolerance, investment diversification, investment professionals, and ways to protect your investments.
