Maryland STEM Festival : STEAM at Home

Join us for simple STEAM activities using common items found at home. This is part of the MD STEM Festival. You can find all of the Festival events on their website www.marylandstemfestival.org.

If you would like to follow along, you will need the following materials:

• Shaving Cream 
• Food Coloring (blue is best) 
• Clear Jar or Mug 
• Water 
• Black Pepper 
• Shallow Bowl
• Cotton Swab (like a Q-Tip)
• Liquid soap 
• Two books of similar height 
• Paper 
• Small paper cup or empty yogurt container 
• 5 coins 
• Colored Markers
