Please join us online to discuss Silas Marner by George Eliot. When Silas Marner is wrongly accused of crime and expelled from his community, he retreats to a small English village. There he remains an outsider, until his riches are stolen and a tiny child appears in his cottage. We will explore how the protagonist's journey serves as an allegory for the Jewish experience, and examine author George Eliot's connection to the Jewish people.
Registrants will be emailed information on how to access the virtual book discussion.
