Domestic violence is a pattern of behaviors used by one partner to maintain power and control over another partner in a current or former intimate relationship. Join us to learn about the dynamics of domestic violence, the warning signs and how you can help someone who may be experiencing abuse. In addition, the presenters will discuss how the COVID-19 health crisis is contributing to the rise of domestic violence incidences.
The presenters are Tom Manion and Smita Varia. Mr. Manion is the Director of the Montgomery County Family Justice Center and Ms. Varia is the Program Manager for the Domestic Violence Coordinating Council.
