Nigerian-American author Tope Folarin will be talking about his experience as a writer.
Mr. Folarin is the first writer based outside Africa to win the prestigious Caine Prize for African Writing in 2013. He was shortlisted again in 2016. Recently named to the Africa39 list of the most promising African writers under 40, Mr. Folarin is the author of A Particular Kind of Black Man, a powerful story about the universal issues of identity and belonging.
