Have you been interested in mindfulness and meditation but not sure how to get started? During these sessions, we will explore mindfulness as a daily practice.
Mindfulness is the ability to be fully present in our own lives to be aware of what we are doing as we are doing it. As we develop our awareness we are better able to engage with the world and not be overwhelmed by it. We will explore many aspects of mindfulness: •What are we doing when we meditate? •How to deal with obstacles to mindfulness? •What is the relationship between mindfulness and self-compassion? •How can we bring mindfulness into everyday activities? •How can we be mindful when relating to other people?
