Practice reading aloud and build your confidence during a one-on-one reading session with a certified therapy dog. 
 
Come and read to a licensed therapy dog.  Best for kids in 1-3rd grades who need help to develop reading confidence.  No parents or siblings allowed in room. 

This program is specifically targeted to children 5 years old and up who have some ability to read aloud on their own.

Library Program Attendance (both virtual and in the branch) is limited to participants within the suggested age range of the program. Children attending an MCPL program under the age of 8 must be accompanied by an adult. Adults attending a program intended for children must have an accompanying child.
