Tween and Teen STEM - Strawberry DNA Extraction
A MD STEM Festival Event
Saturday, October 24
12:00pm - 1:00pm
Tweens and teens can join us for this fun STEM experiment in the honor of MD STEM Fest.
Every living thing is made up of a unique sequence of DNA, including the fruits and veggies that we eat! In this fun experiment we will take strawberries and extract their DNA so that we can actually see and hold it.
For ages 11 to 17. Registration Required.
The Maryland STEM Festival is a month-long celebration of science, technology, engineering and mathematics designed to advance STEM and STEAM education for children and teens that takes place every fall.
