Join us for a book signing and author talk with local luminary Jason Green, at the Pleasant View Historical Association (11810 Darnestown Road, North Potomac, MD).

Jason G. Green is the author of the memoir Too Precious to Lose, blending personal, family, and community history with reflections on social and cultural resilience. He will be signing copies of his book, and it will be available for purchase on site.

Jason G. Green is a Maryland-born community organizer, attorney, entrepreneur, and storyteller whose work spans public service, economic opportunity, and community trust-building. He served as Special Assistant to President Obama and Associate White House Counsel, advising on domestic and economic policy during the recovery from the Great Recession. His professional experience deeply informs his writing, particularly his focus on community, history, and social justice.

Library Program Attendance (both virtual and in the branch) is limited to participants within the suggested age range of the program. Children attending an MCPL program under the age of 8 must be accompanied by an adult. Adults attending a program intended for children must have an accompanying child.

If you plan to attend with a group of ten or more, please contact the branch at least one week before the program to discuss how your group might be accommodated.
