One Sheet, Endless Stories
Thursday, August 13
11:00am - 12:00pm
Wheaton Library
Teen Media LabCreate your own mini comic using one folded sheet of paper as you write and illustrate a short narrative using graphic‑novel‑style storytelling techniques, with all supplies provided.
The mini comic book is a fun format for telling a story in words and pictures. Using one folded sheet of paper, you will write and illustrate a brief (6-8 page) narrative that can be factual, fictional, or a combination of both. You will apply various graphic novel storytelling techniques to your comic book. Come to the workshop with an idea, which can take the form of a story, poem, recipe, daydream…it’s up to you! All supplies will be provided.
Best for Kids aged 10-15.
This program is supported in part by funding from the Montgomery County Government and the Arts & Humanities Council of Montgomery County.
