Back to School, Back to Balance: Helping Your Child Navigate the Transition - In-person
Presented by Health and Human Services
Saturday, August 22
11:00am - 1:00pm
A presentation by Montgomery County Health and Human Services
A special presentation on Health and Wellness by Montgomery County Health and Human Services.
As summer winds down, many children and teens experience a mix of excitement and anxiety about returning to school — new teachers, new routines, social pressures, and academic expectations can all feel overwhelming. Join Montgomery County’s Behavioral Health Navigators for a free community workshop designed to help parents and caregivers support their children through this seasonal transition. We’ll talk about recognizing signs of back-to-school anxiety, practical strategies for easing schedule and routine changes, how to open conversations with your child about their worries, and when — and how — to connect with additional behavioral health support if needed. Complimentary coffee generously provided by Kefa Cafe.
This program has a maximum of 30 participants and registration is required.
