Family Storytime at Damascus Community Recreation Center

Join us at the Damascus Community Recreation Center, located at 25520 Oak Drive, Damascus, MD 20872, for a weekly 40-minute program designed for children ages newborn to 5 years old.
While the Damascus Library is being renovated, Damascus Library staff are pleased to present Family Story Time at the Damascus Community Recreation Center located at 25520 Oak Dr, Damascus, MD 20872. There is also a drop box located at the Recreation Center for convenient returns of books and other library materials.
These 40-minute programs are designed to delight children ages newborn to 5 years old, and are filled with diverse stories and activities that promote and develop language skills and imagination. These programs encourage children to develop pre-reading skills and a lifelong love of reading and learning.

Library Program Attendance (both virtual and in the branch) is limited to participants within the suggested age range of the program. Children attending an MCPL program under the age of 8 must be accompanied by an adult. Adults attending a program intended for children must have an accompanying child.
If you plan to attend with a group of ten or more, please contact the branch at least one week before the program to discuss how your group might be accommodated.
