Join us on the patio at Long Branch to hear the smooth sounds of Electric Violinist Bliss Ananda. This musical performance is in celebration of 75 years of Montgomery County Public Libraries!

Come and enjoy the smooth sounds of Bliss Ananda the Electric Violinist as Long Branch Library celebrates 75 years of MCPL!

Charles “Bliss the Violinist” Tolbert, aka Bliss Ananda, has been soothing the palates of listeners with his electric violin for over 30 years. Bliss Ananda has performed at: The Strathmore, the Kennedy Center, the Christmas Tree Lighting at The White House, the National Institutes of Health’s Barbara Streisand Heart Health Initiative, the reopening of the Howard Theater, as well as for The Mayor of Washington, DC, Muriel Bowser.

This program will take place outside on the patio, weather permitting. Program will be moved indoors if raining or bad weather. Feel free to bring a blanket, towel, or camp chairs to sit on. Some additional chairs will also be provided by the library.
