A sick boy gains ghostly powers and teams up with an injured cop to stop a gangster from plunging New York into chaos.

Join us for a special screening of Phantom Boy (2015) — a heartwarming and visually stunning animated adventure! The film follows Leo, an 11-year-old boy with a mysterious illness who discovers he can leave his body and explore the city as an invisible, flying “phantom.” When a criminal mastermind threatens New York City, Leo teams up with a wounded police officer to save the day in a tale full of courage, friendship, and wonder. This program will take place in our upstairs meeting room. We'll have tasty treats to enjoy while watching the movie.

Movie runtime: 1 hour and 24 minutes.

Library program attendance (both virtual and in the branch) is limited to participants within the suggested age range of the program. Children attending an MCPL program under the age of 8 must be accompanied by an adult. Adults attending a program intended for children must have an accompanying child.
