Color Our World - Glen Echo Aquarium

Learn about ocean life! Meet live sea creatures! See real marine artifacts!

Join the Glen Echo Aquarium as they present Under the Sea, an overview of life in our oceans, including a variety of live sea animals and real marine artifacts, including:  a clam, a hermit crab, a spider crab, one large and one small sea snail, a sea star, whale baleen, sea turtle rib, and others! There will also be a discussion of ecology, habitat, and conservation.

This 45-minute program has been generously sponsored by the Friends of the Library, Montgomery County.

Library Program Attendance (both virtual and in the branch) is limited to participants within the suggested age range of the program. Children attending an MCPL program under the age of 8 must be accompanied by an adult. Adults attending a program intended for children must have an accompanying child.

Accommodation Requests

People who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing should request English-language captioning or sign-language interpretation at least five days before the library-sponsored program they plan to attend.
