Make Your Own Album Cover

Vinyl Day 2025

Participants will design and create their own record covers using a variety of art supplies.

Participants will be provided with all the necessary materials, including blank album covers, paints, brushes, markers, and easels. This activity will not only be fun and creative, but also educational, as participants would learn about the role of visual art in music and culture. Supplies will be provided while materials last.

This is an open session. Participants can drop by anytime.

Vinyl Day: Just for the Record is a day dedicated to Record and DJ culture in Montgomery County. This free family-friendly music festival featuring workshops, speakers and more! This event is generously sponsored by Friends of the Library, Montgomery County Inc. (FOLMC) and Levine Music.

Library Program Attendance (both virtual and in the branch) is limited to participants within the suggested age range of the program. Children attending an MCPL program under the age of 8 must be accompanied by an adult. Adults attending a program intended for children must have an accompanying child.

Accommodation Requests

People who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing should request English-language captioning or sign-language interpretation at least five days before the library-sponsored program they plan to attend.
